This week CipherBio added $5.74B in deals and an incredible 91 new life science companies to our platform.

Featured Top Investments 

From seed to acquisition it happened. Avaneer Health announces $50M in Seed funding. In Series A, Ceptur Therapeutics (Silagene) gets $75 Million. And Iterative Scopes announces $150M / Series B to advance AI-driven precision medicine for gastroenterology. Wheel raises $150M in Series C led by Lightspeed Ventures, Tiger Global and others. 

 Vista Equity invests $300M / Series E in TigerConnect, a digital health/AI company.  Center for Breakthrough Medicine, an innovative cell and gene therapy company, received $350 million in equity financing from South Korean SK Inc. (KRX: 034730). Leader in diagnostics testing, Sema4 acquired GeneDx, a global leader in genetic and genomic testing, for $623M.

Funds Raised

Just recently Andreessen Horowitz raised $9B in new capital for venture, growth, bio funds. This week a London-based VC firm, Entree Capital raised $300M in early stage fund IV from undisclosed investors. And Emmertech closes the $60M fund to help fuel Canada as a global agtech leader.

Starfield, food & science technology, raised $100M in Series B round led by Primavera Capital Group, Lightspeed China Partners and Joy Capital. FlipDish raised $100M in Series C led by Tencent. In AgTech MycoWorks raised $125M in Series C to build a new alt-leather factory. WayCool raised $117M in Series D led by LightRock, LightBox, FMO and others.

Most Active Investors 

The VC firms with notable investments this week are SK Inc., Vista Equity Partners, Prime Movers Lab, Lightrock, Lightspeed Ventures, venBio Partners which participated in rounds totaling over $1 Billion.
